REPRO SAMANTHA VICTORIAN BIRTHDAY DRESS--Made to fit American Girl and Bitty Baby dolls, and especially Samantha. This repro style is ready for next-day shipping. Yes, it IS that nice! It is the best, most faithful reproduction we have had made.

This looks very, very much like Samantha's original birthday dress from the beginning, when the company was Pleasant Company (not Mattel, as it is now).
  • Pretty deep rose-and-white striped dress with lace detail on the short, gathered sleeves,
  • Separate white pinafore has layers of lovely lace in front and pleats detail on the bodice. So much work has gone into this pinafore; it is as much work as a complete dress. The skirt is actually longer on the production pinafore; this picture shows the sample the workshop sent us for approval. It was a little too short. In back, the bow is permanently tied with long tails and hook-and-loop closure behind, and
  • Rosebud Circlet Birthday "crown" has ribbon roses and pale pink and white satin ribbons. It was called a "rose circlet" in the books. Use the white ribbons to tie it around Samantha's head.
