ST. LUCIA'S DAY GOWN--St. Lucia's Day is a very special family celebration marking the beginning of the Christmas season (along with Advent). One girl in the family enters the room with a crown of candles, singing traditional St. Lucia's songs, with a tray of special buns for the family.

This is a traditional dress for Kirsten for the occasion. Betsy designed the set many years ago. It always sells out in December of every year. It is a reproduction! (Mattel does not wholesale the American Girl line.) Beautifully made! Included are:
  • Long white twill (nice weight) Dress with crochet lace trim around the sleeves, neck and hem,
  • A long Red Ribbon Sash to tie around the waist.
  • Red-and-white striped Socks

You can add our Best Quality St. Lucia's Wreath, as well as our Tray, to go with this adorable set. (The other wreath out there is metal. Thick and heavy. Not sure how you would attach it). We have a hard time keeping ours in stock. We also sometimes have the tray in stock (Betsy's own creation--said by many to be better than what originally came for Kirsten from PC--you may be lucky enough to find one!) You may want to add shoes or slippers at Lovvbugg.
