BIRDHOUSE BED--This is the cutest doll furniture we have ever seen! We have been in this business for 26 years. We only got one to start with so we could make sure it is made well enough to sell to our customers. We were worried the birdhouses might not be stable enough. They are fine; very well attached! And just TDC (too darn cute) for words to describe. And very much like something Nana would have made for Betsy when she was a little girl (sigh..)!

The beds came to us packed two in a box so you may or may not receive the original box. There will be plenty of room to add lots of other cute Lovvbugg doll accessories. We don't specialize in WW clothing but we just couldn't pass up this bed. We have loads of accessories approximately the correct scale for the six-year-old Wellie Wishers. It's okay if things are a little large for them. Remember, they are little girls! Assuming they are full-grown would have them using accessories that are really too small. And if the Wellies have food and other accessories a little large then those items will be already on-hand with your daughter graduates to the larger girl dolls. Not to speak of the fact kids just don't see scale the way adults do.

This bed is barely big enough for the Wellie Wishers, but what toddler isn't too big for their toddler bed before they grow out of it? Our Piper would still be sleeping in her crib/toddler bed if we let her--and she's 30-something now! This bed is so cute we know you and your child will just lovv it!

Dimensions for the bed are: overall 16 inches long x 11-1/2 wide x 10 tall. The actual mattress inside is 13-3/4 long x 8-3/4 wide x 3/4-inch thick. Your doll can bend and cuddle with a puppy or kitten! The mattress is included with the bed. Take a look at Lovvbugg! to see if we have gotten more bedding made. Also, read the part about bedding sets below. Most of our bedding is made to fit beds for the 18 inch girls. We hope to be able to make some bedding for these beds!

Our 5-piece bedding set is sold separately at Lovvbugg! (Make sure you order a set to fit this bed) Each set includes:
  • pocket sheet
  • comforter-style blanket- top quality eyelet ruffle all around. We do not use the cheap fabrics from the dollar tables.
  • pillow inside
  • pillowcase, also trimmed with the eyelet ruffle.
Most sellers don't use the eyelet trim because it is very expensive. It (at lease) doubles the cost of making a bedding set.
