PANTALETTES (or BLOOMERS with Eyelet Lace)--Just the thing to go under any pioneer-era dress so a girl can show some modesty--and cute, too! These pantalettes are not as long as gathered pantaloons.

Elastic at waistline. Eyelet lace (patterns vary) at leg openings and a little white satin bow on each side. Just lovely!

Made to fit American Girl dolls especially. Also fits Bitty Baby because their bodies are the same size; the difference is in the length of their legs so they will be longer on Bitty.

Technically, women in Colonial Williamsburg wore nothing with legs! It was considered indecent or too manly. A docent told us this when we visited there.

These pantalettes have style, not to mention the cotton lace trimmed at the bottom.  They are very well made and priced just right.
