COVERED CAKE PLATE--Samantha is one of the original American Girls Collection dolls by Pleasant Company, begun in 1987 and sold to Mattel in 1995. Adults lovved the historical aspect and stories that made the dolls come alive. The accessories were mostly made in America or were purchased from companies that made the products or did the importing their items chosen for the AG girls collection.

This lovvly pattern was made by an American company, handmade and hand-painted so there may be slight coloration differences, especially in the cherries. Pleasant Company only sold a few of the pieces. Many more items were available. We have gotten a bunch of them together for you. Each item is in new or as-new condition. The quality is lovvly because we're picky!

This set is about 4 inches in diameter and 4 inches tall.

Several other pieces were available to go with Samantha's set and were sold by the original glassmaking company. We have gotten lots of them together for you. These pieces are highly collectible! You can count on Lovvbugg for the coolest items for your American Girl doll play and collecting!

We are concentrating on quality, using better fabrics and designing them without elastic wherever possible. Elastic dies in a few years, then you have a difficult and/or expensive repair. Many people will just throw them away. Our repros are quite a bit nicer than the originals were. You won't want--or need-- to throw them away!
