WHITE LANTERN--I am very happy to be able to offer you another realistic accessory for your American Girl dolls. The quality of this item is amazing. It looks and feels just like the real thing---only smaller! The metal body of the lantern is painted antique white. There is a little working door that opens and closes. The inside of this lantern is empty.

Dimensions are 4 inches tall x 1-1/4 inch diameter.

This little historical type lantern mimicking the old-timey pierced tin lanterns is realistic as a prop for pioneer dolls.  I chose white to go with everything, but there's a rust red one as well.  It opens, but there is no candle.  i was able to stick one in, though.  There is another style that does come with a lantern which I will probably order another time as a prop for my historical dolls.
