Extremely lightweight! The flaps on the sides and ends make it look like there are pockets but they are nonfunctional. They lift and hold down with hook-and-loop. We are not sure what their function is/was supposed to be. The 'blanket' is sewn in so you can slip the doll under it.

You can cut a piece of cardboard to put in the bottom if you want it to be stiffer. Wrap it with a piece of pink fabric. You can glue the fabric to the cardboard so it won't show.

We were only able to get a few of these this year. Be sure to add some baby bottles, a feeding set, another blanket, a cloth diaper, to create a nice set for Christmas morning when you present the new baby doll!
