Size for this item is 2-1/4 inches tall x 7/8 inch diameter base.

Takes a 3/8 inch "candle" which we recommend you cut from a piece of glue stick. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND allowing ANY child have real (birthday cake) candles for pretend play. The wick is too much of a temptation. (Also, this item is intended for children OVER 5 years old.) Apologies for the blurry picture.
