Made especially to fit American Girl and other popular 18 inch girl dolls, especially Kirsten.   You get:

•  Green-and-white striped dress with 4 white buttons on gathered front bodice (actually closes in back), short sleeves with white  piping edges, and 2 "grow pleats" on the skirt so Kirsten can continue to wear her favorite summer dress as she grows.
• 1/2 inch wide white satin ribbons (2) to tie on her pretty braids.

Here is a pretty dress for your American Girl to wear when she rides her horse!  It looks a lot like one of Josefina's dresses.  It has:

• Pretty white daisies dance on an orange field on the high-waisted dress with double ruffles at the hem short sleeves
• Embroided tan "leather" vest has scalloped design around the edges and flowers on each side of the front,
• A peachy wide satin ribbon to tie back her hair while she rides.

American Girl used to sell a coat just like this for Kirsten. It is a white wooly coat with attached hood, decorated with red stripes and beautiful toggle buttons.  Fully lined in white.

• 1/2 inch wide white satin ribbons (2) to tie on her pretty braids.

This adorable set comes in three pieces.  The skirt and laced vest are made of woven-in plaid fabric. 

• Plaid vest - looks like it is really laced, but that would be too difficult for a girl to do, so the lacing is stitched in permanently and the vest opens and closes in the back with velcro,
• Plaid skirt - has gathered waist, waistband, and a "grow pleat" for when your girl grows taller, just like Kirsten had in her clothes,
• Long-sleeved white blouse - this item will work with other outfits, so your daughter will be able to stretch her doll clothes combinations.

This outfit will also fit Bitty Baby.  The baby and girl dolls have the same size bodies; the difference is in the length of the legs, so skirts and pants will hang longer on Bitty Baby.  A great way to stretch your dollars--the outfits will fit the baby doll now and the girl doll later when your daughter receives her girl doll.

It is hard to see how pretty this dress is in the picture because the scalloped edges hardly show up. 

• Pretty plum-and-ivory plaid (with a tiny yellow stripe,too) poly-cotton fabric is used to make this pretty dress.  The bodice has a large scalloped collar that has been gathered and stitched down near the waistline.  Each sleeve has scalloped hemlines near the wrists.
• Fringed ivory shawl that has been carefully over-stitched to make it appear to be really quilted.
• Heavy hair ribbons in a deep wine color (made of loosely-woven cotton somewhat like shoelaces are made of today)

• Aqua pinafore-style floral dress with short sleeves wth ruffles and pink piping plus 2 aqua satin flowers on front,
• Light pink blouse with ruffles at neckline and aqua piping and ruffled sleeves,

Kirsten's blue eyes look lovely with this blue dress!  It has long sleeves with "angel sleeves" and is trimmed all over with black ribbon.  There is pretty lace at the hemline.

Also comes with matching bonnet which is also trimmed with white lace.

This pioneer style will fit Bitty Baby.  It will hang longer on her because her legs are shorter.  The dolls' bodies are the same size.

St. Lucia's Day is a very special family celebration that marks the beginning of the Christmas season (along with Advent).  One girl in the family enters the room with a crown of candles, singing traditional St. Lucia's songs, with a tray of special buns for the family.

This is a traditional dress for Kirsten for the occasion.  It is long and white trim around the sleeves and hem and a long red sash to tie around the waist.  Also comes with red-and-white striped socks.
