My American Girl doll is modeling her new blue backpack.  It is just like a real girl's backpack.   This backpack is also a nice size for My Twinn, Life of Faith, Sasha, Dollfie and lots of other dolls.

It closes with a zipper and has an extra pocket across the back that closes with velcro.  The back straps are matching color sturdy handle webbing.  There is a real loop so she can hang it on the hook at school or in her locker.

Size is 5 tall x 4-3/4 x 1-1/2 inch deep overall. I had them made a little taller because lots of things won't quite fit inside the competitors' bags.

Parents are always hoping a toy item will cross over and serve as an educational item also. This set fills the bill!

This kit includes:

• a 4 sketch pad with 64 pages to fill with drawings
• 3-1/4 inch artist's pencil, an articulated wood manikin
• a water bottle (very hard to see in picture-the black thing is the bottle's cap)
• 2-1/4 inch paint brush and a paint tin with 8 watercolor cakes. 
• It all comes in a clear, hard plastic box for storage. The box is 4-1/4 inches square x 1-3/8 inches deep.

Felicity is modeling her new canvas book bag with black leatherette trim.  It looks exactly like the one that comes with Molly's school supplies, only without the high price! Also perfect for Kit because her story is in a similar timeframe.

The bookbag measures 4-1/2 inches wide x 3-1/2 inches tall and is 3/4 inch thick, PLUS another 1/2 inch thickness in the outer pocket.  Compartments close with brass buckles and your doll's name can be inserted into the frame on the front.

Each pencil is 1-3/4 inches long and 1/8 inch in diameter. They are adorable and fascinating. Case colors vary---yellow, red or blue. The one you get could be any of these.

A very popular school supply for American Girl dolls who go to school before the 20th century!  You will receive one "slate" (not really) board and one eraser that will fit your doll's hand.  You can write on it with chalk.
